Panelift is an AI comic translator for manga, manhwa, manhua and webtoons. Upload a chapter in Japanese, Korean or Chinese and get it back in English: the original lettering erased, the art painted back, and the translation lettered into each bubble, with names and terms kept the same across the series.

Right-to-left manga pages, Korean and Chinese pages, and long vertical strips are all read in their own order and translated as a chapter.
Not a photo translator
Photo translators lay text over the picture. Panelift erases the original lettering, paints the art back and letters the translation inside the bubble, so the page reads like an edition.
Story-aware translation
The whole chapter is read before any line is translated, with a cast list of names, genders and forms of address kept for the next chapter.
Checked before you see it
In Fast mode every page is checked; a page that fails is held for you rather than shipped, and refunded.

Panelift reads the title off the pages, looks the series up and fills in its English title, story and genres. Change anything that is off.

The whole chapter is read first, then every bubble is erased, the art painted back, and the English lettered into the same space.

Questions
What kinds of comics can Panelift translate?
Manga, manhwa, manhua and webtoons in Japanese, Korean or Chinese, into English. Comics already in English cannot be translated into other languages yet.
How is Panelift different from translating a screenshot?
A screenshot translator overlays text on the picture. Panelift removes the original lettering, repaints the art underneath and letters the translation into the bubble, reading the whole chapter for context first.
How much does it cost to translate a comic?
Fast mode costs 1 credit a page (2.5 for an 18+ series), and every account starts with 10 free credits. A page that fails a check is refunded. See the cost page for what a chapter costs in your currency.
Do I need the rights to the comic?
Yes. Panelift is for people who hold the rights to a work or have the rights holder's permission; you confirm it for every chapter, and rights holders can ask for a takedown.
