Questions
How much does it cost to translate a manga chapter?
A 20-page chapter costs 20 credits: $1.70 at the cheapest rate (Publisher plan) and $2.67 at the dearest (90-credit pack). A 40-page chapter costs twice that.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Every new account gets 10 credits once, with no card needed: 10 pages in Fast mode.
Do 18+ series cost more?
Yes. A series marked 18+ is translated on a private GPU route at 2.5 credits a page in Fast mode, instead of 1 credit.
Do I pay for pages that fail?
No. You pay only for pages delivered: a page that fails a check, or that could not be translated, is refunded to your balance.
Do credits expire?
Credits from a pack never expire. A plan adds its credits every month.
Is it cheaper than a human translator?
Usually, by a wide margin, but it is not the same thing: Panelift is a machine translation you can read and correct in the page editor. For a published edition, many teams use it for the first pass and have a person check the script.
